There are two standard technical positions at Readify:

• Senior Developer

• Senior Consultant

Each role may contain additional specialised expertise, for example:

• BizTalk
• SQL Server
• VSTS
• Live Communications Server
• Active Directory

Senior Developer

Demonstrate technical excellence and a clear understanding of Readify solutions and standards, including:

• applying best practices to development standards
• being expert in nominated fields of technical specialisation
• Proficient in all pillars of the .NET development environment
• coding, testing and documenting software developed
• delivering and installing the software
• applying a pragmatic approach to development undertakings
• Demonstrates professional excellence when:
  • translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • attending and contributing to client briefings
  • undertaking supplementary training where directed by Readify

Senior Consultant

All Senior Developer skills plus...

Demonstrate technical elitism and an intimate understanding of Readify solutions and standards when delivering:

Consulting

• Skills gap analysis
• Architecture and design advice
• Security
• Proof-of-Concept development
• Research and presentation of relevant case studies around similar solutions
• Preparing the scope for development
• Estimating delivery time frames
• Supervising and mentoring client staff from time to time as required
• Detailed code reviews
• Technical documentation around all consulting and development work undertaken, describing design and development principles used to deliver the solution

Training

• Deliver training in classroom or lecture style environments, to people with varying skills
• Adjust training materials to suit a specific audience
• Regularly review feedback from each delivered training session and learn from this
• Keeping abreast of the latest innovations in technologies in order to answer questions not directly associated with the training course

Curriculum Development

• Continually be considering ways to improve existing curriculum in line with customer feedback and technical advancements
• Participate in brain storming sessions around new curriculum opportunities
• Approach curriculum development assignments with great consideration of technical accuracy and relevance
• Show flair and creativity when designing demonstrations and labs in order to elevate the learning experience for our customers
• Ensure timely delivery of curriculum development or testing assignments

Leadership

• Simply possessing deep technical knowledge does not qualify one as a Senior Consultant. Proactively sharing knowledge, communicating effectively, assisting others and achieving high work ethics are all leadership qualities required of a Senior Consultant
• Active participate in local technical forums, such as User Groups, involving Microsoft and their wider .NET community. This includes giving presentations as well as attending
• Active participation in the company's Professional Development program
  • Nominate and agree areas of interest and value to Discover and Master, as part of one's Professional Development plan
  • Contribute to the general knowledge of the organisation by actively seeking valuable information (via blogs and other mechanisms) and then sharing them with the group by documenting discoveries to the company knowledge base and/or presenting to other Technical staff
  • Undertake measurable assessments which validate the learning outcomes achieved. This may include exams and certification
