Have you ever tried to enter a URL into a form but it was just too long to save correctly? How about reading the URL out to someone over the telephone? Well thanks to websites like Shrinkster.com, you can get around this problem by 'shrinking' the URL down to a shorter URL which redirects to the original URL.

But if you thought that was good - well then Shrinklet is a priceless little application that is built to make your life just that little bit easier! Shrinklet is a small utility which periodically checks to see if you have copied any URLs to your clipboard. If it detects that you have then it asks you if you want to 'shrink' it. If you answer yes Shrinklet will visit the Shrinkster.com website, get the shrunken URL and then copy it back into your clipboard!
