Professor Christine Mingins has been involved with Microsoft .NET Research and Development since 2000, working with Microsoft on 'Project 7', proving the multi-language capabilities of the .NET infrastructure.
She is a Member of Technical Committee #39 of the European Computer Manufacturers Association (ECMA), which recently standardised C# and the Common Language Infrastructure. Christine leads the m-Commerce Centre at Monash University, where she supervises a number of PhD students researching with .NET technologies. Recent publications include 'Design Patterns and Contracts', an Addison Wesley text.
Christine has been actively consulting to industry on Object Technology for the past 20 years. Since the Microsoft .NET Framework was announced, she has presented many keynotes, tutorials and seminars on the technology, and continues her direct involvement with Microsoft through the ECMA committee and other work on the Microsoft .NET Infrastructure.
